Grandma says, "Tazer is Chastens guardian, everywhere that my grandson is, Tazer is close behind him. Chasten likes to ride him like a bull! Tazer is the first to go running whenever Chasten falls or is crying!! We would be lost without Tazer!!!"
Kacie says, "Nakita is the most wonderful loving caring dog I have ever known. She licks my cats as if they were her pups and cuddles with my baby chihuahua at night. She loves it when children come over. She lays on the ground and just lets them roll all over her. As you can see in the pic below she is laying on the floor with Elianna. Elianna is approx 7 months old and Nakita laid on the floor with the baby and the baby pulled her hair, ears and her tail and Nakita just laid there loving every minute of it."

Auntie says, "When my nephews visit they love to hug and kiss my dogs and my dogs love the boys right back. I feel my dogs behavior with my nephews truly represents the true nature of the breed, especially since we do not have kids running around the house on a daily basis. I am a passionate fighter against BSL, having helped write several non breed specific Dangerous Dog Laws that are now being used in several cities in my state. I am a member of the Massachusetts Federation of Dog Clubs, the ADOA, and the STCA."

Dad says, "I rescued Scrappy from the streets of Kansas City in October 2005. He was malnourished, covered in fly bites, and had many cuts and wounds on his poor body. We welcomed Scrappy into our home and lives with open loving arms and nursed him back to health. He has become a member of the family and is the most loving and gentle dogs I have ever had the pleasure of owning/meeting. Breed Specific Legislation is legislation induced by ignorance and has yet to solve any tangible problem. What people fail to realize is the problem is not with the breed, the problem is with the owner."

Leigh says, "The world stops when Corey and Beth come to visit, they squish Harely hard enough to make his tounge stick out."

Dad says, "Ruby thinks Aiden is her pillow and Aiden thinks that she is his chew toy so both get what they want . BAN BSL"

Rachel says, "Here is my fiancee's son and our pit mix, Squeek. Squeek was rescued from the county shelter. Our other dog, Riley chose her. She is by far the most loving, loyal dog I've ever met. All she wants to do is wiggle and give love! She absolutely loves people and kids. BSL scares me because I could lose such an important part of our family because of people's ignorance."

Mom says, "My kids don't understand the difference between Pit Bulls and any other dogs (nor do I for that matter). All three of my children have autism spectrum disorders but love all of our foster dogs as much as any other kids could, maybe more ;o) Who says autistic children can't learn empathy and compassion?
Louie is an American Bulldog, but came into our rescue as a "Pit Bull" but is now 97 lbs at 18 months!!! Oh yeah, he's completely deaf, trained in hand signals."
Auntie says, "My dog, Carmalina, and my niece Kyla are inseparable. They'll go lie down with each other, and Carmalina always lets Kyla do whatever she wants to her. She asks about her when we don't visit for a while. She's a little young to understand about BSL, but she'd be so sad if someone took Carmalina away."

Haleigh says, "I love Rumble very much, he's my aunts baby and mine too. Rumble makes my life worth while. He licks away my tears when I cry. He gives me kisses when I talk to him, and he stays by me whenever I am around him. He's bigger than I am, and he lets me lay all over him and do whatever I want, he's never been mean, he loves everybody. All it takes is training, and any dog can be like Rumble! PLEASE don't take him away from me, my heart will be empty and I will be lost without him! He's my best friend!"
