The "Max's Animal Compassion Curriculum" (MACC) is geared towards children 6-8 years (grades 1-3). It helps teachers and educators of all types (home schoolers, girl/boy scout leaders, individuals etc.) bring animal compassion into the classroom.
MACC teaches children the importance of adopting from shelters, inspires them to take action and help a homeless animal in need. It also helps build character and confidence by having the children help, and possibly save another being.
Use the MACC kit along with an Author Visit and Student Certificates to further drive home Max's message of animal compassion. Additional books at reduced prices are also available. (see below)

Certificates of Completion are available for each student. They come without each childs name. If you prefer to have us print each childs name, at no additional cost, we will need you to provide us with a list of the children's names by emailing them to nr at maxtheshelterdog dot com after you have placed your order. Please reference your paypal id#. A classroom certificate is included.
Author Visit/Q&A session is available to those teaching MACC in the New York City area at a $50.00 charge for 30 minutes. After the completion of MACC, the author will spend time answering the students questions. If you are interested click "add to cart" below and we will make arrangements via email. Additional Books - As an educator you will be eligible for price reductions on additional books (starting at 2 or more).
